Why the name?

The sum total of our life’s past, present and future experiences are often expressed as a journey. In life’s journey we discover who we are and who we’re not. We discover our greatest fears and insecurities. If we’re honest about our lives, one moment we’re living mountain top experiences of success or achievement feeling extremely certain and clear of our place in this world. And the next, we’re in a deep valley with feelings of uncertainty and fear. So while life’s journey has its peaks and valleys, pains and gains, we can be comforted knowing that it’s always been God’s desire to journey with us in authentic relationship with Him. The name The Journey reminds us that it’s not simply a destination we’re seeking but what we discover about Jesus through relationship with Him along the way.
